Must complete all mandatory trainings under DDA and CMT guidelines.Physical ability to lift/move more than 50 pounds and assist in individual transfers.Valid Non-CDL Class C Driver License and reliable personal transportation.Basic computer skills ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and complete forms.Caring demeanor and a genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities.Preferably 1-2 years of experience in providing direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Adhere strictly to work schedules, meet deadlines, and adjust to program needs.Encourage and facilitate individuals' participation in recreational, social, and community activities based on their interests and personalized plans.Promptly report significant changes, incidents, or potential safety hazards to the appropriate management.Oversee individuals' healthcare needs, schedule medical appointments, and maintain up-to-date documentation.Accurately complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.Administer medications as instructed, monitoring individuals for any health or behavioral changes.Encourage the development of daily living skills, such as housekeeping tasks and meal preparation, in line with each individual's personalized plan.Ensure a clean, safe, and nurturing living environment for the individuals served, assisting with their personal needs as required.Complete all mandatory state-regulated trainings, including MTTP, CPR/First Aid, MANDT, and State DDA, within the first 60 days of employment.Uphold the principles of confidentiality for individuals receiving services. ![]() Provide critical assistance during behavioral and medical crises. ![]()
